Bubble Bobble

Bubble Bobble tells the story of Bub and Bob, two humans who are transformed into little dinosaurs after entering a mysterious cave of monsters. To regain their human form, they must reach the end of the cave. Each level is contained on a single screen, and only when all enemies are defeated can you progress. Bub and Bob can jump, collect items for points, and most importantly blow bubbles – their key ability. Bubbles can trap enemies, which then turn into fruit when popped, or serve as platforms to reach higher ground. Occasionally, power-ups drift by in bubbles, unleashing effects such as lightning bolts or rushing water. But if you take too long, Baron Von Blubba will appear and relentlessly pursue you across the screen.
