The Atari Lynx was released in October 1989 as the world's first color handheld console and first 16-bit handheld system. Despite being technologically superior to the Game Boy (with color display, backlight, and better graphics), it suffered from poor battery life and limited market penetration. However, the Lynx boasted an impressive library of games, with approximately 76 officially released titles. This compilation represents the most highly-regarded games across multiple retro gaming sources and communities.
