The Nintendo Satellaview was a satellite modem peripheral for the Super Famicom released in Japan on April 23, 1995. It operated until June 30, 2000, broadcasting approximately 114 games, magazines, and data content through St.GIGA's satellite service. Many titles remain partially or completely lost media due to the ephemeral nature of the broadcast service and the difficulty in preserving data from rewritable cartridges.
